Olympic gold medalist Tamira Menserstock has taken a stand against biological males in women's sports, saying she has no interest in competing against men.
The Olympian told Fox News that she has wrestled men in practice sessions, but that it is “very difficult” to beat a man, even when he is smaller and weighs less than you.
At Sunday's FOX Nation Patriot Awards, FOX News revealed that Mensah Stock, who became the first Black woman to win a gold medal in freestyle wrestling in 2021, has previously faced competitive wrestling situations. I asked if it was.
“No, thank you, but I know some people who do,” Menserstock replied.
She went on to say that although she had practice sessions with men, she did not want to compete against men in freestyle wrestling.
“Well, I'll tell you this: I've wrestled a lot of guys in practice, and from now on I'll only wrestle guys in practice — because even though they're 20 pounds smaller than me, men's wrestling is… Because it's very difficult,” said the Olympian. “So, as if they were the same weight as me…I just maintain it in practice.”
Mensah-Stock recently signed a contract with WWE, but her role there has yet to be revealed.
After her stunning wrestling victory, the 32-year-old Chicago native donned the Stars and Stripes and declared how much she loves life in America, making her one of the most notable Olympians at the 2021 Tokyo Games. Ta.
“It feels great,” Menserstock said of competing for his country. “I love representing the United States,” she continued, raising her hands in the shape of a heart. “I absolutely love living there, I love it so much, and I'm so happy to represent America,” she said.
