Despite a busy news cycle, CNN's dark audience continues to grow on TNT, Food Network, Freeform, Discovery, INSP, Hallmark Mystery, TLC, TBS, History, HGTV, USA, MSNBC, Paramount, Hallmark Channel, ESPN, It was less than Fox News.
It was even worse for CNN's prime-time lineup among adults 25 to 54, a demographic coveted by advertisers. The network averaged just 67,000 demo viewers, finishing 26th on cable TV.
TV Land, MTV, Nick at Nite, Comedy Central and Adult Swim are among the networks that boosted CNN in key categories. Fox News Channel, by comparison, averaged 280,000 prime-time demo viewers last week, beating CNN's dismal average.

CNN has been struggling, with the week ending November 25th being its lowest-rated week in total viewers since June 2001, even though it averaged just 268,000 viewers. By comparison, Fox News Channel had 1.4 million viewers.
CNN also plans to go to court next month as a U.S. Navy veteran files a defamation lawsuit claiming his 2021 segment on “The Lead with Jake Tapper” destroyed his reputation and business. I'm planning on heading there.
