While conservatives across the country are celebrating Daniel Penny's innocence, many on the left are crying racism, calling Penny the aggressor and Neely the victim.
Megyn Kelly recently responded to the left, especially the BLM left, which has been perhaps the most vocal in the protests.
Dave Rubin plays a clip of Kelly's “pretty brilliant analysis of the situation.”
“On Mr. Neely's side, some describe him as a victim. He was not a victim. He was an aggressor. He made serious threats to other passengers on the subway that day. “He was a criminal who had committed suicide,” she said, noting Neely's “long-standing history of hurting others.” [passengers]”
And to the person who yelled, “This is a racist country!” Kelly responded in court: I need to find a new line. I don't know what will happen, but the era of BLM is officially over, it's over. ”
“You put us in some kind of weird psychotic headpin for four or five years, and it's over. Trump was reelected, and Daniel Penny is one of the most left-wing jurisdictions in America. So, even though he is white and Jordan Neely is black, they were acquitted, and they are still shouting, “This is a racist country.'' Fool, utter fool,” she lashed out.
Regarding Neely's father, who is now allegedly suing Daniel Penny, Kelly asked, “Where was he when Jordan Neely was arrested dozens of times over the years?” . When he was punching a 67-year-old woman in the face? Where was the grieving father then? ”
But “Are you completely behind your son now?” I have no pity for you. ”
Dave wholeheartedly agrees with Kelly's response.
“Yes, this has nothing to do with race. This has everything to do with lawlessness in New York City and police defunding being pushed by BLM and progressives like Kathy Hochul. “I was there,” he says.
“Jordan Neely's death is much bigger than Penny's death.”
