Karine Jean-Pierre Confirms Biden in Talks to Potentially Pardon Allies

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed Thursday that President Joe Biden is talking with his team about granting preemptive pardons to allies.

Several establishment media outlets reported last week that White House lawyers were considering a preemptive pardon.

Democrats and allies in the media have been urging Biden in recent weeks to pardon a number of his allies, including: mark milley christopher ray, Department of Justice attorney, joe biden oneself, whole Biden family, liz cheney, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosiand Adam Kinzingeramong others.

Although a preemptive pardon could be seen as an admission of wrongdoing by the recipient, some Democrats have argued that a preemptive pardon is only intended to prevent President-elect Donald Trump from cleaning up Washington. There is.

At Thursday's White House press briefing, a reporter asked Jean-Pierre about the report.

“I understand you don't want to pre-empt the president's thinking, but are there still any names that are wrong?” the reporter asked, referring specifically to possible pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci and Liz Cheney.

Jean-Pierre said of Fauci and Cheney: “If I were to pre-empt the president or preview what the president was going to consider, that would be a bad move for me, for me, on my behalf. Deaf,” he said.

“And this, this he will discuss with the team. And I have nothing more to say to you,” Jean-Pierre admitted.
