UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting suspect fled New York via train, not by bus as originally thought: reports

The suspect who killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City earlier this month fled Manhattan by train, rather than by bus as originally thought, according to reports.

Luigi Mangione is charged with murder for allegedly shooting Thompson as she walked into the Midtown Manhattan Hilton on the morning of December 4.

Mangione, 26, was on the run after the shooting and was arrested five days later in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
