Oprah Winfrey almost had a “heart attack” when her best friend Gayle King threw her a surprise 70th birthday party.
The billionaire media mogul started his friend's celebration two weeks early, secretly gathering friends and family of his “CBS Morning” co-host at Ci Siamo in New York City for a celebration.
“My best friend of 50 years is turning 70, so we gathered everyone who loves her to celebrate. It's hard to surprise her, oh, the stories we made up, the lies we told to keep this a secret. ” Winfrey captioned the video It was unveiled on Instagram on Saturday.

Winfrey and King were also seen walking into the restaurant arm in arm as a large crowd chanted “Surprise!” The birthday girl looked visibly shocked.
Mr. King jumped back, threw his wallet on a nearby table, then gasped in shock and put a hand to his chest.
Winfrey burst out laughing as her friend looked out at the restaurant packed with customers.
Dr. King's daughter Kirby Bumpass, 38, and son William Bumpass Jr., 37, were the first to greet their mother with a warm hug.
The clip also featured Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, Robert De Niro and his girlfriend Tiffany Chen.
