Gun control activist David Hogg is running for vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

I think this role is, first of all, a great way to bring new voices into the Democratic Party…I just want to be one of the few voices that serves as a representative of young people, and most of all, I want to make sure that we We want to be able to preserve our democracy by standing up to the consulting class that the Democratic Party increasingly represents instead of the working class.
On November 20, 2024, Breitbart News reported that Hogg expressed concern about the exodus of young people from the Democratic Party.
Hogg explained using the X post:
