Kyle Richards has defended her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, saying there is no need to rush into divorce negotiations.

Andy Cohen expressed doubt that the topic “hasn't come up yet” after the couple announced their separation in July 2023.
“No,” the reality star, 55, insisted. “We're good friends. We get along very well. We live separate lives and it just didn't occur to me.
“When the time comes, obviously we'll address it,” Richards continued.
Ms. Cohen, 56, agreed with Bravo executives, saying she probably “didn't have the energy to talk like that.”
“Of course not,” Richards said. “It's difficult and it's obviously not something either of us can easily get into and we just kind of let it go. … That's where it is now.”
Speaking about their current momentum, the actress said: Talk to Umansky54, texts him “several times a week,” “every few days,” or “sometimes” every day.
However, Ms Richards said she was “trying to avoid” meeting the women her ex-girlfriend dated while they were separated.
Regarding his love life, he admitted, “I have thought about dating.''
When Richards split from the “Buying Beverly Hills” star last year, romance rumors swirled about her friendship with singer Morgan Wade.
The two have denied the headlines and repeatedly said they have a platonic bond.
Mr Umansky was linked to his Dancing with the Stars partner Emma Slater in October 2023, and their PDA “hurt” Richards' feelings.
“It was very difficult to watch,” Richards told “WWHL” last year, admitting that she was “surprised.”
Since then, Umansky has gone on multiple vacations with Russian actress Nikita Khan.
