Alec Baldwin accused the media of wanting him to “die” and spoke out about the incident surrounding the death of cinematographer Halina Hutchins on the set of his film The Last in 2021. He said he intended to “expose the truth.”

The second thing is, they want you to go to prison…these political crowds…see their enemies in prison for years because prison is like a living hell And the third thing is, they want to cancel you, but it's the same as being in jail or dying, because you're walking around the earth and… you're invisible. Baldwin was charged with manslaughter after a live round fired from a prop pistol he was holding on a film set in New Mexico, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza.
