Police believe the five members of a family found dead in their West Valley City, Utah, home were killed in a murder-suicide scenario.
Breitbart News reported On Tuesday, a family of five was found shot to death. The family consisted of a father, mother, and three children.
The sixth member of the family, a 17-year-old son, was found in the garage with a severe gunshot wound to the head.
At the time the news first broke, police had not speculated on the cause of death or the cause of the 17-year-old boy's serious injuries.
But later in the day, ABC 4 noticed Police found a handgun under the father's body, and the family believed he died by suicide.
NBC News quotation “This is our initial determination, that the father probably shot the entire family and then himself,” police spokeswoman Roxean Vainuk said.
Her 17-year-old son “remains in critical condition.”
