At least one person is reported to have died in a plane crash on Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins' property.
The 1979 Beechcraft A36, which had left Lansing, Michigan, crashed in a wooded area near Dawkins' home somewhere in East Aurora around 11:30 a.m. ET. around fox news:

About six minutes later, East Aurora dispatch received a call that a small plane had crashed in a wooded area, he added.
Welch said the plane crashed “very close” to Dawkins' home, between two properties. WKBW-TV reported that it belonged to Dawkins, citing property records.

Welch said fire officials who responded to the incident reported a “full-blown fire” upon arrival. The only pilot, whose identity is still unknown, did not survive. Dawkins missed practice for personal reasons, but later offered his condolences to the pilot's family.
“I still wonder why things like this happen in life, but tragedies happen all the time. The biggest takeaway about this is that I hope the pilot's family is okay. “Someone lost their life in an accident today, so I hope they're okay. I'm glad their family is okay,” he said.
