A devilish California father was arrested Friday on suspicion of beheading his 1-year-old son in a frenzied early morning rampage that also injured his wife and his mother, police said.
Andrei Demsky, 28, is suspected of first attacking his wife and mother-in-law shortly after 4 a.m., according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.

The two women fled the residence to await authorities. Demski refused to respond to sheriff's deputies.
The sheriff's office said they “forced entry” into the home after learning the toddler was still inside the home with their father, and the father “possibly threw the child, causing injury.”
Demsky was found to be “uncooperative and physically recalcitrant.”
They found the severed heads of a father with dementia and his young son in their bedroom, the statement said.
He is said to have used a knife to kill the patient.
Demsky was taken into custody and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
He is not eligible for bail, the sheriff's office said.
The mother-in-law, who is said to be an infanticide maniac, was taken to the hospital with injuries, but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Mr. Demsky is scheduled to return to court on Dec. 24.
