On Monday's broadcast of Fox News Channel's “Hannity,” incoming border czar Tom Homan said the Trump administration would work to find and rescue as many missing migrant children as possible, adding: We'll deal with the consequences later. We have to bring these children back to their families, and we have to make sure they are protected.”
Mr Homan said:[U]DNA testing was conducted during the Trump administration. We vetted not only the sponsor, but the entire family to ensure that the home was not populated by gang members or child predators. So this is not incompetence, this is not misgovernment, this is planning, this is to move as many people into this country as possible, because they see future political benefits in all this. It's from. Do you think they were going to put it on? [children in harm’s way]?I don't understand that. I have my doubts. But what they did was harm hundreds of thousands of children, some of whom I'm going to tell you now, we'll never find. Some of these children have died. Some of these kids are living hell every day. ”
He continued: “But we will do everything we can to rescue as many people as possible and reunite them with their families. We will deal with the effects of immigration later and we will continue to do everything we can to rescue as many people as possible and reunite them with their families.” We must bring them back to their home and ensure their protection.”
