Deion Sanders’ message to Travis Hunter amid fiancée drama

Coach Prime knows a thing or two about attention on and off the field.

Colorado coach Deion Sanders has decided to cancel the final bowl game against BYU after two-way star Travis Hunter scrubbed his Instagram to protect himself from online criticism about his fiancée, Leanna Reaney. He gave a message before the game.

As seen in a posted video, during Saturday's final practice before San Antonio's Alamo Bowl against BYU, Sanders called Hunter in front of the team and said, “I'm not going to let you know this in front of everyone.'' I want you to keep it that way,” he said. Sanders' Instagram. “You know we love you, we got you. Thank you. You're his.”

Hunter, who is projected to be a top draft pick along with star quarterback Shedule Sanders, has not directly commented on the social media campaign that online trolls have mounted over his reaction to his fiancée.

Mr Schedeur, never one to shield himself from the public eye, gave Mr Hunter a vote of confidence after an old video surfaced of Renee dancing with another man before dating Hunter.

“Athletes, entertainers, artists, etc., if you really want to give Trav a big shoutout, you know how to get in touch with him or anyone around you,” Schedeur tweeted. “At this point, you're just posting to make the algorithm look cool.”

The University of Colorado will play BYU on Saturday. Most of the Buffaloes' roster is expected to play in a bowl game, despite many other schools opting out of bowl games and entering the transfer portal to compete with their own players.
