Taylor Swift may not have been watching football in Pittsburgh on Christmas, but she sure did make a mark.
The music megastar liked Instagram posts from the Kansas City Chiefs account and her boyfriend Travis Kelce and brother Jason's New Heights podcast account. Travis yelled as he scored his 77th career touchdown, breaking Tony Gonzalez's Chiefs all-time touchdown record. That happened in the team's win over the Steelers on Wednesday.
Swift did not attend the holiday at Acresure Stadium in Pittsburgh, but it is unclear where she vacationed instead.
Swift, 35, hasn't played in as many games this year on the Elas Tour since watching her boyfriend, a football player and touchdown scorer, win the Super Bowl in Las Vegas last season.
With Swift likely watching on TV, Kelce played some great football on Christmas Day, scoring his first touchdown since Week 9.
Kelce had a touchdown celebration for Gonzalez after the touchdown, honoring Gonzalez by dunking the ball over the crossbar.
The celebration resulted in a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
The Chiefs can rest easy for the next two weeks after securing the AFC's top seed at 15-1. After struggling with injuries, they have dominated most teams in the NFL.
A week off should allow them to stay healthy heading into the divisional round of the playoffs, where they can face the Steelers again.
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown returned from injury and revitalized a receiving bloom that was lacking at times during the season.
The Chiefs are still without cornerback Jalen Watson, who injured his foot in November, but could return later this season.
