During a conversation with U.S. Rep. Hilary Scholten (D-Mich.) on CNN's “The Situation Room” on Thursday, host Wolf Blitzer said President Joe Biden seems to be “lack of action.” President-elect Donald Trump said, “We are escalating our attacks against the United States.” The current president, who maintains a very low public profile, must be named to the list within his first 100 days in office. ”
Shortly before the interview begins, [relevant remarks begin around 1:15:35] “With just 25 days left until President Trump's inauguration, the White House transition is currently intensifying,” Blitzer said. The president maintains a very low profile in public life.
During his conversation with Scholten, Blitzer said, “On another sensitive issue, Congressman, President Biden is vacationing on St. Croix today. There are no public events scheduled for tomorrow. Heck, his presidential term… Only 25 days left? Why do you think he seems to be missing in action?”
In response, Scholten pointed to records of Biden's judicial confirmations and conversations he had with Biden's Cabinet members about their hopes for the final days of the Biden administration, saying people would take time off during the holidays. He responded by stating that it was recognized.
