Rob Gronkowski enthusiastically endorses tax code simplification: ‘Gronk simple, Gronk wants simple Tax codes’

Four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski said on social media that he supports simplifying the tax code.

Gronkowski comically endorsed the policy after billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk reposted a meme on X that reported the size of the federal tax code at more than 73,000 pages.

“Americans spend a total of 6.5 billion hours preparing and filing their taxes each year.”

“The tax code needs radical simplification!” said Musk.

“Please!!!!! Radical Simplification Now!!! Gronk is simple, Gronk wants a simple tax code, and so does everyone else.” Gronkowski Posted.

The message received more than 1 million views in just a few hours on Monday.

Musk was selected by President-elect Donald Trump to head a new government agency called the Department of Government Efficiency. Musk is tasked with eradicating waste and inefficiency in government to reduce overregulation and overspending.

Immediately after the election, DOGE's official X account tweeted about tax simplification.

“In 1955, the U.S. tax code contained less than 1.5 million words; today it has more than 16 million words.” I read the post. “Because of this complexity, Americans spend a total of 6.5 billion hours preparing and filing their taxes each year. This must be simplified.”

Musk added another reason for wanting to simplify the tax code.

“Simplifying the tax code would increase productivity rather than encourage bizarre tax evasion,” he said. Posted In November.

Gronkowksi played tight end in the New England Patriots' historic championship run after being drafted in 2010. Since then, he has become a brand spokesperson and sports commentator.
