An altercation between Tyler Herro and Amen Thompson escalated into a full-blown brawl between the Miami Heat and Amen Thompson. houston rockets on Sunday night. In the aftermath of the scuffle, five players and one coach were ejected, and now… NBA announces suspension of officials.
Thompson, Jaylen Green, head coach I'M Udoka and assistant coach Ben Thompson were all ejected for the Rockets. Herro and Terry Rozier were ejected from the Miami Heat. Fred VanVleet was ejected early in the game. The benches on both sides sat out after Thompson threw Herro to the floor before the inbounds pass. Herro mocked Thompson during the incident and after the match. The Heat defeated the Rockets 104-100.
The NBA has now announced that he will be suspended from the game. The penalties for those involved are as follows:
- Armen Thompson was suspended for two games.
- Terry Rozier was suspended for one game.
- Tyler Herro was fined $25,000.
- Jaylen Green was fined $35,000.
- Ime Udoka was fined $50,000.

With this win, the Heat improved to 16 wins and 14 losses overall. With this loss, the Rockets fell to 21 wins and 11 losses.

Herro finished with 27 points, nine assists, and six rebounds in the win. Thompson had five points and five assists in 32 minutes after the loss.
Houston's next three games are at home against the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The Rockets' next three games will be at home against the New Orleans Pelicans, Indiana Pacers, and Utah Jazz.
