Convicted felon wanted after two children found dead in Wisconsin

Authorities in Wisconsin are searching for a convicted felon after the bodies of two children and an adult were discovered.

The New Lisbon Police Department announced that the child went missing Sunday night and was last seen as Virgil G. Schuh, 47.

On Monday morning, police learned another child was missing.

Hours later, authorities said two children and an adult were found dead inside a West Bridge Street home.

The family of a woman who went missing while on a cross-border holiday says she was receiving cryptic messages from a phone that didn't look like hers.

It is unclear whether the two children found were the ones who had been reported missing.

The Wisconsin State Crime Lab, Juneau County Sheriff's Office, and Monroe County Sheriff's Office processed the home.

According to police, Woo has been identified as a person of interest. He is wanted by Wisconsin Probation and Parole and should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

He is currently on active community supervision, according to parole records. Mr. Schuh has been convicted of more than a dozen felonies, including possession of a firearm as a felon, robbery and theft.

Records show he has been in and out of prison almost every year since 1995 and was released on parole in 2012.

“If you see one, please do not confront or approach it,” authorities said in a statement.
