Craig Conover spent New Year's Eve with friends Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson after Paige Desorbo announced they had split after three years together.
Gretzky posted some photos Conover is seen smiling and posing with her husband at a lavish party in Aspen, Colorado.
The “Southern Charm” star joins Gretzky, Johnson, celebrity hair colorist Jeremy Cohen, Deadline reporter Scott Shilstone, interior designer Amy Lee McArdle and Paulina's sister Emma Gretzky. He grinned in the group photo.
Paulina, the daughter of famous hockey player Wayne Gretzky, included a snap of herself posing with Conover and two other guests in a photo dump shared on Thursday.
Paulina, 36, and Johnson, 40, went all out for their New Year's Eve party, decorating it with dozens of gold and silver balloons and a Veuve Clicquot champagne tower.
Conover, 36, looked sharp in a long-sleeved blue sweater, khaki pants and brown shoes.
The Sewing Down South founder has been close friends with Gretzky and Johnson since they met in Aspen several years ago.
Since then, the couple I went on vacation with Conover several times. –– and finally desorbo –– and further I was invited to a wedding in April 2022..
This was the first time Conover has been seen since DeSorbo announced their split after three years together.
“I love him. I think he loves me. I think we'll continue to be friends,” she shared on Monday's episode of the Giggly Squad podcast.
“Nobody did anything. It wasn't a bad thing. I think we were both really mature and just said what we wanted and what we didn't want. We expressed our feelings in real time. I think it's very powerful to be able to voice what you want for your future.”
DeSorbo, 32, assured fans that she still has “so much love and respect” for Conover and still considers him “the best boyfriend” she ever had.
“I think he's one of the best people I've ever met in my life,” she added. “I'm still going to be his biggest fan and I want the best for him and he's really going to get the best because he's the best. But that's not the case. Having said that, I think it's the right decision for both of us.”
The Summer House star did not reveal when they broke up or what led to their decision, but said they have both grown and changed “a lot” since they started dating in 2021.
Since then, the former couple have found themselves at the center of rumors about their relationship, but DeSorbo has dismissed speculation that she cheated and “ruined” a hypothetical marriage proposal from Conover. I denied it.
