Migrants Given ‘Preferential’ Access by UK Healthcare System: Report

Britain's National Health Service (NHS) is giving priority to illegal immigrants and so-called asylum seekers over British nationals, a report has claimed.

British nationals often have to wait hours to receive treatment in accident and emergency (A&E) departments, while NHS systems such as 987 Inclusion Health prioritize 'illegal immigrants'. They will not have to wait at the front of the line. telegraph paper reported.

The paper says even asylum seekers whose claims have been rejected are still given “preferential treatment” over many British nationals, with a special “walk-in service” at a community day center in south London It is reported that it is being provided to those who have done so. Meanwhile, up to 15% of other local residents had to wait at least a week to see a doctor in November.

Meanwhile, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London runs a special medical program for 'refugees and asylum seekers' in Lambeth and Southwark, which also includes access for illegal immigrants and asylum seekers. Included.

Officials told the paper the service was set up to “address the unmet needs of particularly vulnerable populations with complex health needs”.

NHS England claims the schemes are designed to combat inequalities in the healthcare industry. A spokesperson said socialized health services were “legally required to provide free health services to asylum seekers and migrants at the point of use” and “address inequalities in access to NHS services”. “There is a legal obligation,” he said.

A Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) spokesperson said: telegraph paper: “It is vital that all vulnerable people in society, including asylum seekers, have access to the healthcare they need and that local NHS Commissioners, through individual contracts, take appropriate steps to enable this. This has been a legal requirement under successive governments.

“A £26 billion investment in the NHS and reform of the health service will ensure that the NHS is once again available for everyone.”

However, the socialized medical system has come under criticism, with leading oncologist Dr. Karol Sikora saying, “The only priority in health care is the urgency of the medical need, especially in the emergency department.'' There should be a sense of urgency.”

“Patients who are struggling to breathe and whose faces turn blue require immediate treatment, regardless of their skin color, creed, or national origin.”

The preferential treatment for immigrants was also heavily criticized by political opponents of the left-wing Labor government, such as Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, who said: “Welcome to Keir Starmer's Britain. This is unfair and wrong and only reform can end it.”

Mr Farage's representative, Boston Skegness MP Richard Tice, added: While hard-working Brits wait weeks for GP appointments and hours in A&E, illegal immigrants end up cutting to the front of the queue.

“The Conservatives started this and now Labor continues to make a mockery of the people who pay into the system for these services.

“The British reforms are clear: those who try to come by boat will be turned away, and those who have already arrived by boat will be deported and will not receive any special treatment.”
