In the span of seven days, the Giants went from having a chance to get the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to not having that chance at all.
After taking over the top spot with a surprise win over the Colts last Sunday, the Browns' loss to the Ravens on Saturday confirmed that the Giants will not be able to pick No. 1 in this year's draft.
The Giants and Browns both finished 3-14 and could be tied based on strength of schedule, but Big Blue's Week 3 win in Cleveland leaves the Browns as the tiebreaker.
And just like that, the Giants have no control over the draft heading into 2025 and desperately need to find a solution at quarterback.
If they win again on Sunday against an Eagles team that is resting key players, the Giants could drop to ninth place.
However, if they lose, the Giants will lock up a top-four pick and could jump up to No. 2 depending on the results of other games.
If the Patriots lose to the Bills, who are locked into the No. 2 seed, they will secure the No. 1 pick. New England isn't expected to take a quarterback after drafting Drake Maye with the third pick last year, but they could trade that pick to a team in need of a quarterback, or maybe take the pick on the spot. There is also a possibility that they will stay with the team and acquire wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.
The Titans will host the Texans, who are locked in the No. 4 seed. If Tennessee loses, they will be drafted ahead of the Giants.

There's been a lot of speculation about the Giants' chances of taking Shedule Sanders or Cam Ward in the draft.
You may still have a chance to get one of them, but you may have lost the ability to choose one of the two.
