New York Giants co-owner John Mara joked Monday that he was angry at Saquon Barkley over a commercial he ran that appeared to be a blow to the end of his tenure with the team. .
Mara famously said on an episode of Hard Knocks earlier this year that he would lose sleep if Barkley joined the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason. Sure enough, Barkley signed with the Eagles and helped them win the NFC East title.

“I called him before the game and told him I was very upset considering our relationship over the years. He said, 'What do you mean?'” “I said all I could have done is ask for help,” Mara said.
“I said there's a chance I might roll over. I said there's a gene for behavior in our family. It's not just my niece.”

Berkeley's Unisom commercial was released Thursday.
“I wrote a lullaby because I heard some people have trouble sleeping,” Barclay said in the ad. “Rock-a-bye, baby, I'm lying awake in bed with 2,000 thoughts running through my head. It's definitely hard to lose sleep over soccer, but not for me. Good night, everyone.”
