If you look up “deep state,” you'll find that it's still classified as a political conspiracy theory.
“What kind of deep state? People often say that there is a deep state!” Mock glenn beckimitating mainstream media and some government officials who have repeatedly denied the existence of such a nefarious network.
But now a North Carolina Democrat is advocating for the creation of a deep state to fight Trump for a second term.
Glenn plays footage of Congressman Wiley Nickell (D.N.C.), calling him “an idiot from North Carolina” and saying Democrats need to set up a U.S. version of the British shadow government to counter Trump. He claimed that there was.
“As Democrats, we have never been able to convince the American people that we have a better idea to solve the problem, but we have it. Glenn points out that the deep state is currently doing everything in its power to sabotage President Trump before he takes office.

In addition, some governors are preparing to counter Trump in every possible way.
“Gavin Newsom held a special session in California to prepare to fund the resistance against Donald Trump,” Glenn says.
Additionally, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, and other state governors have vowed to resist President Trump's mass deportation efforts.
“Blue states are about to mount some serious resistance,” Glenn said.
