U.S. District Judge Eileen Cannon temporarily blocked the release of Special Counsel Jack Smith's final report.

This comes after President-elect Donald Trump's lawyers petitioned Attorney General Merrick Garland on Monday, arguing that Smith lacked legal authority to submit a report on the classified documents.th probe.
