Deion Sanders gives 1-word reaction to Titans firing general manager as son Shedeur could be top pick

The Tennessee Titans fired their general manager early Tuesday, roughly three months before the team was scheduled to have the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft.

The organization announced that Ran Carson was relieved of his duties after a 3-14 season, even though the team shopped in free agency last offseason.

Carson went 9-25 in his two seasons at the helm.

The move certainly caught the eye of Deion Sanders, as the University of Tennessee owns the No. 1 draft pick. Sanders' son, Shedur, has been talked about as the first candidate.

Sanders criticized Mr. X after watching the news, writing simply, “Amazing” with an eyeball emoji.

The Titans appear to be in the quarterback market, so either Shedeur or Cam Ward would be the top selections. They selected Will Revis early in the second round of the 2023 draft, but it was a rocky ride for the Kentucky alum. However, franchise legend Chris Johnson said the team would be “an absolute fool” if they didn't acquire Shedeur's teammate, Travis Hunter.

Titans team owner Amy Adams Strunk informed Carson that the team would be making the changes Tuesday morning.
