I pray for JJ's soul.
The Pacific Palisades is also having an impact on the sports world, as Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick has been directly affected by the wildfires. The area where JJ and his family live is devastated Tuesday near the fire.
The evacuation zone has more than 36,000 people and more than 13,000 buildings labeled as “under immediate threat,” according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. (Related: Ted Cruz and J.D. Vance bet on each other on Texas vs. Ohio State)
Reddick said his wife's family as well as his own were forced to evacuate.
The Lakers captain spoke about the situation before the road game against the Dallas Mavericks.
“I want to thank everyone at the Palisades right now and send my thoughts and prayers. That's where I live. Our family, my wife's family, my wife's twin sister. was evacuated,'' Reddick told reporters on Tuesday. “I know a lot of people are panicking right now, including my family. I can tell from the sounds that a lot of people are scared, so I just want to acknowledge that. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I hope you're all staying safe.”

This is hard for JJ and his family, but it also makes you wonder why California can't get the wildfire situation under control. As a weather enthusiast, I keep an eye on this area consistently, and one of the most recent events I saw was the California Wildfires. This has been going on for years and there is no effort to stop it.
The left really doesn't think anything at all.
