While many of us slept in our beds on New Year's Day, 14 Americans were killed and 35 injured at the hands of radicalized ISIS supporters in New Orleans.
The alleged terrorist, Shamsud Din Jabbar, is a Texas-born military veteran who was somehow radicalized by ISIS in front of everyone in the community.
“He was obsessed with hatred for this ideology.” glenn beck “The Glenn Beck Plan'' says this about terrorists: “If we can understand how people like Jabbar go dark, we might be able to stop the next tragedy before it begins.”
“This so-called maverick is part of the growth pattern,” he continues. “The German Christmas market attack, the London Bridge stabbing, it's happening here on American soil right now. But let's not ignore the bigger picture. He may have acted alone in the execution. However, everything leading up to it was not an isolated process.
Jabbar's story also “raises uncomfortable questions about preparedness for terrorism in 2025,” Glenn said.
“How did he get the knowledge to build sophisticated bombs? How many others are like him? How many are home-made? How many are imported across the border? ” Glenn asks.
“Another question is technology. Meta's smart glasses. He used these to plan attacks, but he also used social media to pledge allegiance to ISIS. So how do we balance innovation and security?” How do we take that?'' he continues.
“The reason I wanted to bring this up today is because this is more than just a tragic event. It's a warning. It exposes the cracks in our system, the complacency that allows those cracks to widen. . Our borders, our political correctness. This story is important because it forces us to face uncomfortable truths about our security, our priorities, and our policies.”
