As wildfires rage through the city of Los Angeles, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar and comedian Whitney Cummings join Hollywood celebrities supporting Democrats, including Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom. The list is growing.
Geller tagged Mayor Bass and the city of Los Angeles' official social media accounts in an Instagram story, writing, “The city of Los Angeles wants everyone to evacuate, but there's a complete traffic jam and traffic cops on the streets. Not a single person has come,” he wrote.
Mr. Geller spoke on Tuesday amid raging wildfires that broke out in various parts of Los Angeles, spread by polar winds and destroyed historic homes after decades of one-party rule (Democrats). He is just one of the many debunking Democratic Party leaders in California. And tens of thousands of people have been evacuated.
Comedian Whitney Cummings was last seen scathingly criticizing Kamala Harris and Joe Biden's failed campaign strategies and CNN's appalling ratings while hosting the troubled network's New Year's Eve show. You may remember it. She vehemently opposed the idea that people needed to donate to support relief efforts in states that collect “huge amounts of taxes from the people.”
She also noted that California made large donations to Ukraine during the war with Russia.
On Wednesday, the second day of the wildfires, actress Sarah Foster accused California Gov. Gavin Newsom, also a Democrat, and Mayor Bass of failing to prepare for the fires.
“We pay the highest taxes in California. Our fire hydrants were empty. Our plants were overgrown and our brush was not mowed. Tribal leaders wanted to save the fish. Our reservoirs were emptied by the governor,” Foster lamented in an X post.
“Our fire department's budget was cut by the mayor, but thankfully drug addicts are getting drug kits,” the actress added sarcastically.
former dancing with the stars Professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy also expressed regret on social media on Wednesday, writing: “The fifth largest economy on earth. Firefighters did not have enough water pressure to do their job. ?!Are you kidding? The taxes we pay for third world infrastructure are unbelievable?! Come on.”
“Why is the water pressure so low in Los Angeles????” Oh my god, the fire hydrants are barely working here? This is insane! ” model and actress Amber Rose wrote on her Instagram Story.
Actor James Woods, who lost his home in the Pacific Palisades fire on Tuesday, joined in the condemnation of California Democratic leadership, writing: Promote diversity. ”
In another post, Woods responded to user X claim Blaming wildfires on “climate change” and saying, “These fires are not caused by 'climate change,' you ignorant bastards. That's because liberal idiots like you like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass… Because you chose some liberal idiot.”
“One side has no understanding of fire management, and the other side can't fill a reservoir,” Woods added in the post.
Celebrity fitness trainer Jillian Michaels also lamented that reservoirs are not being filled, pointing out that Mayor Bass is in Africa during devastating wildfires.
“Looks like the mayor is in Ghana. Looks like the fire department budget was cut by 17 million. And someone made a decision not to refill some of the water reservoirs and now some of the hydrants are dry,” Michaels wrote. Ta.
“California's leadership is beyond negligible. This is completely unacceptable,” Michaels added.
She also recalled losing her home in a fire in 2018, writing: I was in Cali this New Year and for the podcast, and I had just evacuated my mom from her California home. ”
“California Governor @GavinNewsom issued a press release last Sunday admitting he knew there was an insane fire risk because he was proposing to bring in fire trucks. We just called in the National Guard. Pacific Palisades was out of water at 3am,” Michaels continued in a follow-up post.
“I'm so outraged for the people of California. My family who stayed with me. My lifelong friends who live there. Our brave firefighters. This is not a partisan issue. “It's a matter of pure incompetence and misplaced priorities,” she added.
