On the anniversary of “the day democracy nearly died,” liberals across the country still suffer from severe paranoia about the Jan. 6 protesters and what actually happened that day. It was revealed that there was.
One such liberal, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, likened the day to Pearl Harbor. “January 6, 2021, is a day that will forever live in infamy,” Jeffries said, somehow with a straight face, but he's not alone in his delusions.
Naturally, The View's Sunny Hostin also took the time to rant about the infamous day.
“I think we need to find some moral clarity in this country. And after January 6th, I think people like Mitch McConnell are going to put the blame for January 6th squarely on Donald Trump. I remember having it pressed against my shoulder,” Hostin told the rest of “The View” panel.
“And people started to backslide and lose their moral center. I think Lisa Rice said on this show, “We need to move on from January 6th.'' I say no. I can't move on. January 6th was an atrocity,” Hostin continued.
“One of the worst moments in American history. And when we think about the worst moments in American history, we know that we should never forget events like World War II, the Holocaust, and slavery.” Hostin added.
Pat Gray in Pat Gray Unleashed is terrified.
“American history doesn't include the Holocaust. Now, the Holocaust is horrific and one of the worst things in the history of the world, but it didn't happen in America,” he explains. “And she's talking about American history. I mean, what an idiot.”
It's a shame that Hostin can't see the difference between American events and world events, but her comparisons are ridiculous, to say the least.
“You're comparing the Holocaust and slavery to January 6th,” Gray says, surprised. “No one died there, except for Ashli Babbitt and another protester, who were trampled and bludgeoned to death.”
“Words cannot express the anger I feel from these people,” he added.
