Thousands of Los Angeles residents have been forced to evacuate their homes under evacuation orders as wildfires rage. As of Friday morning, the fire had killed at least 10 people and destroyed more than 10,000 homes and businesses. The fire has destroyed more than 27,000 acres, officials said.
In response to the tragedy, the Red Cross immediately dispatched hundreds of American workers to help Southern Californians evacuate the area, and mobilized “hundreds more” to assist victims. announced that it was doing so. They are preparing trucks with cribs, blankets, water and other supplies to help thousands of people in emergency shelters if needed.

“The combination of dry fuels, hurricane-force winds and low humidity has fueled the fires, which have burned tens of thousands of acres, making containment efforts difficult. The threat is not over,” the group said. . “Significant fire weather will continue into Friday and into next week. As this situation continues to develop, it is imperative that people remain vigilant, prepare to evacuate and follow the instructions of local authorities.”
