Rodrigue suffered a fractured shoulder and both officers were taken to hospital for treatment. They were then released. Following this tragedy, all officers involved were ordered to be administratively reassigned.

Officers Jordan and Beyer have been with NOPD for less than two years. Mr. Daggs has been a member of the department for 21 years and Rodrigue has been a member for nine years.

The video also shows several civilians running away from the gunfire. NOPD previously announced that two officers were injured in the shootout, which ultimately resulted in Jabbar's death.
