Hollywood Elite Freak Out over Mark Zuckerberg’s Changes to Meta, Facebook, Instagram

Hollywood elites join forces after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that his company will begin embracing free speech on its Facebook, Instagram and Threads platforms. I'm having a meltdown.

As Breitbart News reported, Zuckerberg on Tuesday announced major changes to his platform's content moderation policies, citing a desire to embrace free speech and avoid censorship. It surprised the world. Meta's CEO explained that one of the first steps is to eliminate third-party “fact checkers” that are notorious for their left-wing bias.

Comedian Leslie Jones said: “What's so sad about this change is that no one is going to do what needs to be done, because no one cares and no one understands how horrible this is going to be.” lamented.

“Everyone still has this idea that 'he can't do it or he can't get away with it,' they can and they have!! Wake up!!” Jones added.

In his post, Jones shared a video of former President Bill Clinton's former White House aide Keith Boykin making bizarre claims. Vaccination skeptics and liars on social media. ”

“What's even more dangerous is that we're about to see more of them in the workplace, in corporate boardrooms, in government offices, in public spaces,” Boykin said in the video, adding, “What's at stake is… , not just the future of social media, but the future of society.”

Actor Jon Cryer, on the other hand, went to the left-wing echo chamber Bluesky, Claim President-elect Donald Trump, the 45th and soon to be 47th president, reacted to Zuckerberg's admission that he may be trying to jump on the bandwagon following his landslide election victory. He openly admits his authoritarianism.”

“It's a good day to delete my Threads account. (I'm not on Facebook)” says actress Mia Farrow I wrote In a Blue Sky post on Tuesday.

Star Trek actor George Takei shared a blog post expressing concern that the changes could “lead to deadly consequences and even genocidal activity.”

Film producer Jeffrey Katzenberg reacted In response to Mr. Zuckerberg's announcement, some suggested that the changes would only create a void in the market, giving rival social media platforms that are in the business of censorship an opportunity to launch and thrive.

“There's no control, there's no limits. It's what people want to do,” Katzenberg said, adding that “without some boundaries and guidelines and rules and regulations,” competitors will pounce.

This is a strange claim by Katzenberg. Zuckerberg on the X platform politically balanced It has been several years since SpaceX was acquired by CEO.

Meanwhile, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel said that Zuckerberg was “jealous” of Musk's relationship with Trump, so much so that he “kissed Trump's ass like it was the Blarney Stone.” “I do,” he claimed.

“Right after the election, Mark Zuckerberg showed up at Mar-a-Lago and humbled himself. Today he made a questionably pro-Trump announcement,” Kimmel added.

See below:

“Oh, I see, Facebook is going to be like X. There are no fact checkers. This is like Del Taco announcing the end of health testing,” Kimmel responded to Zuckerberg's video. he said sarcastically.

Notably, however, Zuckerberg said in a 2021 court filing that Meta's left-wing “fact checkers” analyze content and decide how to handle it based on mere opinion rather than fact. admitted that he was doing it.

“What did Trump do to this woman?” Kimmel said, referring to Zuckerberg in his monologue.

“Imagine being one of the richest people in the world and making the decision to announce the end of the truth as we know it,” Kimmel added. This is an ironic statement if the talk show host was really worried about the truth being censored on his meta show. He should welcome any changes the company is making if it improves the platform.

For example, perhaps one of Facebook's most egregious acts of censoring the truth came in October 2020, when the FBI accused tech companies of the New York Post's bombshell Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” article. They would have killed him after falsely reporting that the report was Russian misinformation.

In addition to censoring the truth, many saw this act as blatant interference in the 2020 presidential election.
