Matthew Stafford’s kids spent night in hospital before Rams’ playoff game

Playing against the Vikings in the playoffs may not be Matthew Stafford's biggest concern.

The Rams quarterback's wife, Kelly Stafford, and their four children spent the weekend in the hospital, according to Kelly's social media posts.

In an Instagram Story posted Saturday, Kelly posted a photo of her two children lying in a hospital bed. According to E! news.

“Last night was long,” she wrote in the post. “Everyone except Hunter is back in bed sleeping. I feel like I took some Celsius.”

In another post on her Story, Kelly shared a photo of her child with Stafford in Arizona.

“Before that, we were all smiles as we were going on a dad's work trip,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself with the Rams quarterback upon his arrival in Arizona.

Details about the girls' hospitalization were not disclosed, but Kelly provided an update on Sunday with a more positive tone.

In a post to her Instagram Story, Kelly shared a photo of her two daughters sitting in a Waffle House booth.

“We've found our happy place in Arizona. I promise we're happy, just not yet,” she wrote with a sick emoji, confirming that they still aren't feeling a little better. It seemed to be showing.

Another video shared on Instagram showed one of the girls resting her head on the other's lap.

The video was captioned, “Taking care of my little sister.”

A third update showed that all four girls appeared to be resting Sunday afternoon, with captions suggesting they were not themselves.

Kelly recently revealed on the Morning After podcast that she was feeling unwell and thought she and her two daughters were battling the flu.

Stafford and Kelly have four daughters, twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7, Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4, and married in 2015.

The Rams will host the Vikings in the wild-card round in Arizona on Monday night due to the Los Angeles wildfires that caused extensive damage in the area.
