A New Jersey teacher was arrested Monday after shutting down his entire school district due to potential threats to staff and students, authorities said.
Amir Doctory, 45, an employee of the Montclair School District who is currently on administrative leave, was arrested without incident in connection with the threat, according to the Montclair Police Department.
Mr. Dockley has been charged with making a terrorist threat, and additional charges are pending.
Police said authorities learned of the alleged threat on Sunday and immediately began an investigation. Police did not provide details of the threats, but said they were made online through social media and were “directed at specific staff members.”

Doctory allegedly threatened to shoot the principal of Northeast Elementary School, where he was a teacher. FOX5 New York Reported.

Police worked with the Montclair School Board, FBI and other local authorities to determine the source of the threat. All schools in the district were closed on Monday as a precautionary measure.

After Doctory's arrest, police said there was no further danger to the community.
