Her participation was revealed by political reporter Matthew Foldy, who posted a photo of the inauguration program to X. Trump's transition team also confirmed the news to Axios on Monday.
Carrie Underwood will perform “America the Beautiful'' with the military choir and the Naval Academy Glee Club before President Trump takes the oath of office, according to screenshots from the show.
Other musical participants include operatic tenor Christopher D. Macchio, who will perform the national anthem along with other music. Over the past year, Macchio has emerged as a favorite of President Trump, performing Puccini's “Nessun Dorma.” turandot During an election rally.
The U.S. Naval Academy Glee Club will also perform the “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Collegiate Choir will perform a variety of music.
