Former SportsCenter anchor Jemele Hill was ridiculed online for bashing the Kardashians and defending Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass' failure.
Bass has been heavily criticized for failures that led to Southern California's historically disastrous wildfire catastrophe. The Hill attempted to exonerate the Democratic mayor by excerpting criticism from Khloé Kardashian.

Kardashian joins a chorus of voices questioning whether local authorities did enough to save lives and property during the historically devastating wildfires. Hill countered by pointing out that the Kardashians were fined for using too much water during California's drought, but many people mocked and ridiculed her poor argument.
“What I'm saying is the hypocrisy of Khloe Kardashian calling out the mayor in the middle of a severe drought when she said her family was going to screw everyone and use as much water as they wanted. “I also believe the Kardashians live in Calabasas, so her mayor isn't even Karen Bass,” she said on social media.
“If the Kardashians had stopped showering, the fire hydrants would have filled up, the reservoirs would have been full, and the fire would have been extinguished!” answered Ryan Gorman appears on the radio show.
