Caitlyn Jenner predicts ‘change’ in California over LA fires

Caitlyn Jenner, a longtime California resident and Fox News contributor, said she sees a “change” in thinking across the state following leadership's response to the wildfires that are still ravaging parts of Los Angeles County. I predict that will happen.

Jenner, who has lived in California since 1973, recalled the first time she saw the state's “Welcome to the Golden State, California” sign on Highway 82.

“Hey, have I seen this state decline over the years? We're not gold, we're not silver, we're not bronze. We don't even make it to the finals anymore,” Jenner said. Speaking to 'The Story', he blamed the state's decline on the politicians running the state.

A former candidate in the 2021 Republican recall election argued that details emerging about how officials failed to prepare for wildfires will shine a “bright light” on California's “weaknesses.”

“Light is good because it has a disinfecting effect. So there are so many problems here, and it's mainly the politicians who are the problem.” He compared it to the game “.

“You know that game where you play and you have a mole and there's a board in front of you and its head pops out and you get a hammer and knock it down? And then another one comes over here. Come and destroy it,” she explained.

“That's what they do. As soon as there's a problem, they try to do what they can to fix it. Instead of going on the offensive a year before the fire,” Jenner added of his I explained the example.

Jenner criticized Gov. Gavin Newsom's response to the wildfires, noting that properties have been affected by fire several times over the years and that it happens “all the time.”

“This is devastating. And they're not aggressive,” Jenner said, crediting strong winds for causing extensive fire damage.

Beyond extreme wind strength, California is also grappling with water infrastructure issues, Jenner emphasized.

“Certainly in the 1960s the California Aqueduct passed through, the largest project in history. [for] California water. We've been run by liberal Democrats ever since, and we're getting less and less. “It's unfortunate that there are so many things we can do, but we just have the wrong priorities,” she said.

California is plagued by outdated water storage systems that can't store all the water from last year's record rainfall. Without reservoirs to provide adequate storage, much of the rainwater had to be dumped into the ocean.

Jenner detailed how she believes California has become, and will continue to be, even more Republican in the wake of the mismanagement of the Los Angeles wildfires and President-elect Donald Trump's election victory. Ta.

“what [Trump] If you look at the past few elections, the amount of blue given to this state was half of the state. Now it's about a third,” Jenner said, elaborating that most of California's Blue Zones are in the San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego metropolitan areas.

“I hope Californians can really change their mindset and I wonder what's going on. [with] This fire will change their way of thinking. Things like this have to happen,” Jenner said, explaining how California as a whole is controlled by Democrats.

“They control the money. They control the votes. They control the unions. And to me, the entire state is like a big fraud,” she said. .
