We have a real quarterback duel ahead of us.
The NFL's two leading MVP candidates, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, will compete in a heated AFC Divisional Round game between the Bills and Ravens at Buffalo's Highmark Stadium on Sunday, January 19th at 6:30 p.m. We'll probably be competing against each other.
“This looks like one of the best games of the last 10 years,” Bill Simmons said. X (old Twitter). “I'm really looking forward to it.”
The 13-4 Bills, led by Sean McDermott, defeated the Broncos 31-7 in the wild card round and are excited about the high-stakes showdown. Allen threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns. Running back James Cook rushed for 120 yards and had an end zone score of his own.
“I don't think one thing was better than another. We just wanted to come out and do well,” Allen said. “At the end of the day, we just wanted to go out and play our best football. I feel like we did that today.”
John Harbaugh's Ravens finished the 2024 season on a four-game winning streak, but also had a strong showing on wild-card weekend, defeating the AFC North rival Steelers 28-14. Jackson completed 16 of 21 passes for 175 yards and two TDs. Derrick Henry also rushed for two scores to complement his impressive effort of 26 carries and 186 yards.
“You just have to pass the ball, whether it's 10 yards, 20 yards, 30 yards, just relaxing,” Jackson said. “When they attack, [Henry] And I go, I'm fresh. It just makes your job a lot easier. We're just piggybacking off each other. ”

About the Bills vs. Ravens game
Buffalo and Baltimore faced off just once in the 2024 season.
On September 29th, two AFC heavyweights faced off at M&T Bank Stadium.
After an even first quarter, Baltimore ran away with the game and never looked back. In the end, they won 35-10.
Still, he said, “The Sept. 29 game is relatively unimportant leading up to Sunday's much-anticipated Ravens-Bills rematch in the divisional round.” Baltimore Ravens claim. “First, the Bills will be at home, where they are undefeated (9-0 including playoffs) and win by an average margin of 17.4 points.”
Regardless of that information, the New York Post gives the Ravens a -1 (-115) advantage.
“The line is close enough to pick up status that it could reverse again,” the Post added.
