The Bronx driver who was found murdered in a private first aid box on Monday was a pioneering musician known as P. Fluid, who once opened for the Grammy-nominated rock band Jane's Addiction. It became clear that it was.
Peter Forrest, 64, was found face down in a pool of blood inside a bus parked on Castle Hill Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Monday, authorities said.
Police said his body showed signs of trauma.
No arrests have been made in connection with the killing of Forrest, who was part of the original lineup of South Bronx-based 24-7 Spyz and went by the pseudonym P. Fluid. Daily News reported.

His ex-girlfriend, Kieza Makonnen, described him as her first love.
Makonnen, who now lives part-time in Ghana, told the Daily News that Forrest was a founding member of the Black Rock Coalition.
She said the two met while visiting cousins in Harlem and began dating soon after.
“I knew Peter from the age of 18 to about 35,” she said, adding that their relationship eventually ended due to Forrest's touring demands.
“Music was his life, and the advancement of black rock was his life,” she added.
“He loved to travel. That was his happy place.”
After leaving the band, Forrest formed P.Fluid and the P.Fluid Foundation, and later briefly rejoined 24-7 Spyz before forming a new band, BlkVampires, his first solo effort. did.
She said Mr. Forrest is also a veteran and is “proud” of his military career.
At the time of the murder, he was employed by Long Island-based Marquis Ambulette.
He lived eight miles away in Allerton.
A co-worker called 911 and emergency services found the bus on Castle Hill Avenue in Castle Hill.
Police say the death is being treated as a homicide, but the exact circumstances of what happened are still unclear.
Makonnen said he was shocked by the death, adding that Forrest had no enemies and had never seen Forrest fight.
“Peter was a good man who loved music,” she said.
