Eagles fan Ryan Caldwell, who went on a vulgar, profane rant against a female Packers fan on Sunday, has been fired from his DEI consulting firm.
The video shows Caldwell, wearing a green Eagles jacket, calling female Packers fans “stupid” and “ugly,” as well as several other profanities.
As reported Wednesday, Caldwell no longer works for DEI consulting firm BCT Partners.
“We condemn the actions of our former employee in the strongest possible terms. This individual's actions and words were vile, disgusting, unacceptable, and appalling, and he has no place in our workplace or in our society. That is not who we are or what we represent.
“At the same time, and again, to be true to our values, we can condemn actions without condemning individuals. Our company has provided reprieve and support to former employees. We hope he grows up and we can all learn from this deeply disturbing incident. That's what real inclusion is all about. It is who we are and what we represent.
“We sincerely apologize to the victims and the ways in which these events have already affected so many people in so many different ways. We are committed to gender equality and a culture of respect and dignity for all. We will continue to work to foster this.”
Additionally, the Eagles banned Caldwell from attending any events at Lincoln Financial Field, not just Eagles games. The Eagles also promised to buy female fans Packers gear to compensate for the unpleasant experience.
