Musk may get office space in Eisenhower building: NYT

Tech billionaire Elon Musk is taking office space in a building adjacent to the White House as he prepares to take the helm of President-elect Trump's newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), according to a source. They plan to secure it. New York Times coverage on monday.

The office space will be located in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, the newspaper reported, citing two people briefed on the plan.

Mr. Musk, a close ally of Mr. Trump, spent considerable influence and capital trying to get Mr. Trump elected in November. Mr. Musk spent at least $250 million over the campaign, according to campaign filings.

Immediately after the election, Trump tapped Musk, along with his rival in the 2024 Republican primary, Vivek Ramaswamy, to lead DOGE, an advisory board focused on cutting government spending.

The Times said it was not immediately clear whether Ramaswamy would secure space in the Eisenhower Building.

The newspaper reported that Musk has consulted with transition officials about the level of access to the White House once Trump returns to the Oval Office. The Record noted that these discussions remained unclear.
