Trump’s Military Academy Classmates Celebrate Reelection, Current Cadets to March in Inaugural Parade

Cadets from President-elect Donald Trump's alma mater, the New York Military Academy (NYMA), will march in Monday's inaugural parade, his former classmates confirmed to Breitbart News.

Jack Seraphin, president of the academy's alumni association, attended Cornwall-on-Hudson boarding school with Trump in the 1960s.

Asked how it felt to see his childhood friend go down in history as the first president to serve non-consecutive terms, Serafin said: “I can't describe it…I'm speechless.”

“He almost cried when the academy passed by,” Seraphine said of the 2017 parade. “You could tell he was really nervous…He was always a first class guy.”

“Everyone liked him…he was a great athlete…he was a good student and was very supportive of the academy after he left,” he continued.

Peter Ticktin, who was Trump's platoon sergeant at NYMA when Trump was 18, is also a lifelong friend and one of the lawyers who handled the case against Hillary Clinton.

“He's going to get America out of a dire situation,” Ticktin told Breitbart News when asked how he felt about seeing his former classmate elected for a second time.

He explained that President Trump will replace the country's “globalist mentality” with an “America first mentality.”

Ticktin also said that if someone had told him when they graduated from NYMA in 1964, “I never would have doubted that one day I would become president.”

Jennifer Lawrence, who later graduated from NYMA and became CEO of Mission America, also raises awareness of cadets marching in the parade.
