Which teams are on upset watch in the NFL Divisional Round playoffs?

Saturday soccer will be played this week for the first time in a while. Gratitude and mourning for having to wait until August to rejoin the practice we all know and love.

This is the case in the NFL as we enter the divisional round weekend. There are eight teams in the field with four games remaining, all hoping to reach the penultimate stage for a ticket to the Super Bowl.

It's often said that this is the best weekend in sports. I definitely put the weekend away masters Some people besides myself are giving away the opening round of March Madness, and I can understand that opinion considering these games are generally pretty thrilling.

Going into the wild card round, I offered two potential upset picks and got half of them correct (it sounds better when I put it this way). Considering there are only four games taking place this weekend, we thought it best to rank them by upset potential.

Start with a game that has . largely There is a possibility that he will get upset and lose his temper from there. Also… We use betting lines from our friends at FanDuel As of Wednesday, January 15th, subject to change.

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens (BUF +1.5)

Let me be clear: I think the Baltimore Ravens will win the Super Bowl. I said the same thing in this week's issue. skinny post (A weekly column written by myself and Michael Peterson). However, it is clear that they will have the toughest opponent of the four favorites for the championship this weekend.

On some level, that's the purpose of this exercise. We look at the teams we think will lose and rank them. Out of the four teams, who do you think will end their season this weekend…Buffalo is clearly the best. I don't believe Josh Allen is the MVP, but I think he has a point. they are at home. They are losers! That's a lot of sports energy working in their favor.

Unfortunately for the Bills, this Ravens team hasn't looked deadly for a while. Will that time come on Sunday night? perhaps. But I doubt it.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles (LAR +6.5)

This is certainly a very primitive way of looking at things, considering how much data and information is available to us today. But I'm still here to do it.

With the exception of Week 18 against the Seattle Seahawks, they didn't win because things just didn't go their way. The Los Angeles Rams have not allowed an opponent to score in double digits in four consecutive games. game. This obviously includes Monday night's playoff win over the Minnesota Vikings in Arizona as a result of the tragic fires in California.

Extending the story a little further…the Rams have won six straight games, not including the meaningless game against Seattle. Surprisingly, their last loss in a significant game was at home against the Philadelphia Eagles.

I think we all feel like both teams are different versions of themselves than they were the Sunday before Thanksgiving (that game!). LA has an opportunity here.

Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs (HOU +8.5)

part of me Really As much as I'd like to pick Houston to win (as I did in last week's upset column), I'm not going to be the player to play against the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs in general, much less in a year where the team continues to win. Even more so. Find all kinds of ways to win.

The Texans are remembering the way they played football last week, which was certainly a positive sign, but making a mountain out of what could be a molehill considering the Chargers are the kingmakers involved here will be cautious. Of course, I don't mean to trivialize Houston's playoff win, but it was against a team that many of us (at least me) didn't necessarily believe in. So why do we panic and overreact and act like they're amazing right now? ?

This line certainly reflects that logic…and the fact that Kansas City is kind of inescapable. Still, the Chiefs look more vulnerable than ever this season. That means, relatively speaking, I'm going to take a short break at this moment.

Washington Commanders vs. Detroit Lions (WAS +9.5)

It's easy to say in hindsight, but I was foolish not to see the managers as a clear upset candidate last week. That's my responsibility, Mom.

There's no question that Washington is in the middle of some really fun and cool things right now. It could also be true that lions are just another kind of monster. Washington benefited from some wild events in the final minutes of the game against Tampa Bay and took advantage of them. This Detroit team is not one to make mistakes like that.

All in all, I would be absolutely shocked if the Commanders won this week. That's why, in my mind, they have the least chance of an upset this week.

I said it out loud…but please be careful.
