President-elect Trump acknowledged Friday that he spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping just days before taking office.
“I just met with President Xi Jinping of China. This meeting was very good for both China and the United States,” President Trump posted on Truth Social.
“I hope we can solve many problems together and get started soon. We talked about balance on trade, fentanyl, TikTok, and many other topics. We will do our best to make it more peaceful and safe!”
