Jazlyn Rausch is 37 years old. accused He is accused of murdering 68-year-old Monique Gilbertson and hiding her body in a mobile home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to the arrest report, Rausch, whose real name is Daniel Rausch, met Gilbertson at a hardware store before being invited to his home. Eventually, complaints about Rausch's mess led Gilbertson to try to evict his roommate.

Police conducted a welfare check after Gilbertson's acquaintances reported her missing.
Rausch told police he found Gilbertson's body but gave conflicting accounts of where the body was found.
“I didn't know what to do, so I put her in an icebox,” Rausch told police.
Rausch's wife, Gina Lopez, told police that she provided Rausch with fentanyl to mix with cocaine and cause Gilbertson to overdose. Investigators estimated that the woman's body had been in the freezer for more than four days. He also said she had 200 times the lethal dose of fentanyl in her system.
Mr. Rausch was charged with second-degree murder and Mr. Lopez was charged with drug charges. redux reported Rausch had prior felony convictions for child abuse, neglect and endangerment.
Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty for Rush, according to court records.
