Arkansas man accused of dumping puppies using a box that had his name, address attached

An Arkansas man has been arrested on animal cruelty charges after he allegedly dumped a puppy at a local car wash using a box with a shipping label with personal information on it.

Jeremy Roberts, 20, was found abandoned in a car wash at Wagner Car Wash on Highway 18 in Manila on Tuesday, Manila Police said. arrested by the police. K8 News reported.

Police were able to expedite the investigation when they later found a shipping label on the box with Roberts' name and address on it when he visited Roberts' home.

“After speaking with Mr. Roberts about the incident, he admitted to abandoning the dog,” said Officer Ronald Amick.

Roberts was charged with three counts of animal cruelty, the newspaper reported.

He was taken into police custody and then transported to the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office.

He was later released on bail, the newspaper reported.
