Sen. Lindsey Graham (RS.C.) on Sunday called for the “destroying” of Iran's nuclear program following a new ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
“The next thing I'm going to work on with President Trump is to use this moment to destroy Iran's nuclear program,” Graham said on CBS News' Margaret Brennan's “Face the Nation.” .

“They want to destroy the Jewish state,” the South Carolina Republican continued. “They want to cleanse Islam and drive us out of the Middle East. It's like negotiating with Hitler. We hope that they will do so, but it would be a historic mistake if they did not.”
On Sunday, a new ceasefire agreement came into effect, halting fighting in Gaza. The cessation of fighting in the region is the first step in a ceasefire agreement announced last Wednesday.
Biden welcomed the deal Wednesday, saying it was “not easy” to reach.
The president added, “I've been working on foreign policy for decades.” “This was one of the toughest negotiations I've ever been through. We got to this point because Israel, with the support of the United States, put pressure on Hamas.”
