WASHINGTON, D.C. — Supporters of President-elect Donald Trump braved frigid weather and long periods of cold weather Sunday to attend the 45th and soon-to-be 47th president's rally at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. People from all over the country gathered to participate in the “Victory Rally” on the eve of his inauguration. line.
Brenda Mantooth, 84, of Missouri, told Breitbart News: “I'm excited to see this country not just get back on track morally, spiritually and innovatively, but go beyond it. I'm looking forward to it,” he said.
Mantooth sent a message to Trump, adding: “Stay true to yourself. Listen and let the Lord lead.”
“We want President Trump to boost morale,” said Georgia's Terrence Fowler. “I've talked to a lot of people about morale in this country. It's been low for four years. It's definitely time for us to boost morale.”
President Trump is “bringing structure back to this country, and that's what I'm excited about,” Fowler continued, watching the soon-to-be-sworn-in 47th president tackle “the border crisis and the housing market.” He added that he was looking forward to it. It's about “getting our economy back on track.”
“It's exciting to see,” Fowler said. “I look forward to a lot of great things. Many of his cabinet appointments have been great. The two most important [being] Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr.”
Tennessee's Chuck Boggs told Breitbart News that his biggest concern is immigration and that he looks forward to hearing President Trump speak during his upcoming second term.
Mary Macionski from Michigan said the changes she wants to see include “securing the border and eliminating inflation.”
As Breitbart News reported, President Trump's inaugural committee held a rally for supporters in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, the day before the 45th and soon-to-be 47th president was inaugurated for his second term. They announced that they would be hosting a large gathering.
