This was another year in which Lamar Jackson put together an MVP-like season, but the Baltimore Ravens only managed to win one game in the playoffs and missed the Super Bowl.
On Sunday night, the Ravens lost to the Buffalo Bills 27-25 in the AFC Divisional Round. Jackson led the Bills to a comeback and brought them within a two-point conversion of tying the game. A pass from Jackson to Mark Andrews went just wide, and the star tight end couldn't bring it in.

The Ravens committed three costly turnovers in the game as fans focused on Andrews' mistakes. In addition to the fumble, Jackson also had an interception. Andrews also fumbled the ball after catching a pass. Bills linebacker Terrell Bernard grabbed the ball with a punch and missed.
After the game, Jackson expressed that he was tired of the mistake.
“We have to get through this,” Jackson said. “Because we're right there. We're tired of being right there. We have to get tickets.”
He refused to blame Andrews for the team's loss.

“I don't think it's his fault,” Jackson added. “We all contributed to the game. It's a team effort. I'm not going to put that on Mark because he's been fighting all season. He's been doing great things all season.”
“It's not always going to go your way. We win as a team. But when it doesn't go your way, you have to understand that.”
Baltimore had one of the best seasons in franchise history. They gained the third most yards in NFL history and became the first team to pass for 4,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards in a single season. The team also had the best rush defense in the league.
